DOFOTT

Built in public.

DOFOTT is small, and I would rather you could see how small. These are all the numbers I have: how many people connected a calendar, how many calendars they pointed at it, how many travel blocks DOFOTT has written into them, how many of those are still ahead, how many people are on each plan, and what comes in.

The money is what actually came in, after discounts and refunds, before tax: a year given away with a beta code counts as a person on the plan and as nothing in the revenue. No number that only looks good. The page is written straight from the database once a day, and nobody’s name, calendar or day is in it — the same rule the product keeps: count what is needed, keep nothing else.

The DOFOTT figure, celebrating a calendar
46People who connected a calendar
57Calendars switched on
1087Travel blocks written since 17 September1
130Travel blocks still ahead in them
27People on pay as you go
5People on the annual plan
$7.50Monthly recurring revenue (MRR), before tax
$90Annual run rate (ARR): MRR × 12

The number of people goes back to the first account, because the account log does. Calendars and blocks have only been counted since the day this page was built, and blocks written since 17 September: a block that was over used to be forgotten, so the ones before that day cannot be counted. Plans and revenue are counted from 6 October; MRR is a twelfth of each annual plan’s last payment plus the months over twelve meetings charged in the last full month. A gap is drawn as a gap rather than filled in with a guess.

Annotations

  1. 9–13 OctA bug wrote the same weekly trips again each time a meeting took place, so the travel blocks written line climbs faster than it should for those days. Fixed on 13 October; from then on it counts only new blocks.
