The service
DOFOTT is a service that adds travel-time blocks to your Google Calendar™ before and after events that have a location. It is operated by Yakup Bayrak, a sole proprietorship in Türkiye. By connecting your Google account you accept these terms.
What it costs
There are two plans, and every price here is before tax: tax is added on top at checkout, at your country's rate. On Pay as you go, twelve meetings with a place are free every calendar month; in a month where you go past twelve, $5 + tax is charged on your next monthly invoice and the rest of that month is unlimited, however many meetings follow. On Annual, $36 + tax a year buys the same service with no limit at all. A meeting counts once, however many blocks it produces, and each occurrence of a repeating meeting counts on its own; months are UTC calendar months.
A card is taken when you subscribe. Nothing is charged in a month where you stay within the free twelve, and the calendar month you sign up in is never billed, whatever you do in it. The day you pass twelve, DOFOTT writes to you: a charge is never the first you hear of it.
You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription on the settings page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the service until then; a month already past twelve is still charged, because you used it. Annual is fully refundable within thirty days of the payment if you ask — write to help@dofott.com — and is not refundable after that.
Without a plan, DOFOTT writes no new blocks for you, and the blocks already in your calendar stay where they are. If a subscription ends because it was cancelled or could not be paid, DOFOTT removes its own blocks that are still ahead of you and leaves everything in the past untouched. Your own events are never affected by any of this.
Your account
You need a Google account with Google Calendar™. You stay in control: untick calendars, change settings, disconnect, or delete your account at any time from the settings page. Deleting the account removes every DOFOTT block and all stored data and revokes DOFOTT's access at Google. Details are in the privacy page.
What DOFOTT does and does not do
- It inserts, moves and removes travel blocks it created itself, each marked with a private tag.
- It never edits, moves or deletes an event of yours.
- It never brings back a block you deleted, unless the event moves to a different location.
- Travel times come from Google Maps™ and are estimates. Traffic, weather and your own pace can differ. DOFOTT does not guarantee that you arrive on time.
Acceptable use
Use DOFOTT for your own calendars, or calendars you are allowed to write to. Do not try to access other people's accounts, overload the service, or interfere with it.
Availability and liability
DOFOTT is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It depends on Google's services and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for missed appointments, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of DOFOTT. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. The operator may suspend or end access for abuse, or if Google withdraws the access DOFOTT relies on. If the service is discontinued, connected accounts are told by email in advance, and blocks already in your calendar stay. If DOFOTT loses access to your Google Calendar and you neither connect again nor delete your account, the account is deleted 30 days after we tell you so by email; a paid subscription then stops renewing, with no refund for the period already paid.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes are announced by email at least thirty days ahead.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are settled by the courts of İstanbul, without prejudice to consumer rights that apply where you live.
