- This page. What changes in DOFOTT, in plain words, in both languages, with a feed you can subscribe to.
- Two guides: how to add travel time to Google Calendar, by hand and automatically, and what Google Calendar is missing and what it costs you. Linked from the bottom of every page.
- Addresses must be a street, a building or a named place. A district, a city or a postal code alone is refused with "Too general: add a street or a place name", on the settings page and on a trip's page. Before this, a starting address typed as "Pendik" became the centre of the district and the trip barely changed.
- A trip's page shows the travel time as it stands, and the new one right after you save: "Travel time now: 16 min there, 17 min back." No need to check the calendar.
- Changing a setting takes effect at once. A new home or work address, a different travel mode or the return trip now rewrites your blocks within seconds instead of at the next quarter-hour check.
- Search engines and AI assistants can now find and describe DOFOTT: a site map, a plain-text description of what it does and does not do, and a proper preview with an image when you share a link.
- The landing page opens with a short film: a clay figure, a meeting with a location, two travel blocks landing around it. It plays on every browser, including Safari and iPhone; if your device asks for less motion, you see a still.
- The "How it works" pictures act out their step: the connect click, the addresses being typed, the block growing and shrinking with the travel mode. On a phone each picture sits right under its own step.
- A contact page: the address, the feedback button, a reply within one business day, and what to write where.
- A "Feedback" button at the bottom right of every page, for quick notes. It is run by another company, Inputly; the privacy page says what it sees.
- Page views and clicks are counted, to see which parts of the pages get used. Nothing is stored in your browser, no cookie, no identifier, no recording of what you do, and your browser's Do Not Track setting is respected. The privacy page says who counts and where.
- A new question in "Questions": "I added it, I did not like it. How do I remove it?", with the link to Google's third-party connections page.
- The settings page, before you sign in, now says what it is: "Connect your Google Calendar", and that the same button signs you back in.
- The landing page's first paragraph names the pain before the answer: travel time in Google Calendar is added by hand, one way, with a guessed number.
- The look: the dofott logotype in every top bar and the "tt" emblem in the browser tab, white pages instead of light grey, an icon on each feature card, a highlighted "does not do", and the same footer on every page.
- A proper landing page at dofott.com, in English, and at dofott.com/tr, in Turkish: what DOFOTT does, what it does not do, the beta promise, and ten questions. The two languages are separate pages; the pill at the top switches.
- Privacy and terms pages in both languages: what is read, what is kept, who sees it, how to delete it, and the beta promise in writing.
- Home or work. The starting address is now "Home", and an optional "Work" address with work days and hours sits under it. A trip starts from wherever you are when it starts: from work during work hours, from home the rest of the time. A meeting that runs past the end of your work day starts from work and returns home.
- Changes reach your calendar within seconds. When you create, move or delete an event, DOFOTT hears about it at once instead of at the next quarter-hour check; the 15-minute check stays as a safety net.
- Recurring events get one recurring travel block instead of one per occurrence. Move or cancel a single occurrence and only that date changes; delete one travel block and only that date stays clear; delete the whole series and it stays gone.
- Change one trip. Every block's description ends with a link that opens a small page for that event only: travel mode, starting address, return trip, or no travel time at all (flying, already there). Saves apply within a minute.
- Smart travel. When two events with locations follow each other within three hours and going straight from the first is shorter than coming from home, the block is computed from the first event and no return trip is added in between.
- Automatic checks every 15 minutes. Create or move an event with a location and its travel block follows within a quarter of an hour; nothing to press.
- First travel blocks. DOFOTT scans the next 60 days of every calendar you ticked and writes a "DOFOTT (driving)" block before each event with a location, plus one after it when the return trip is on. Durations come from Google Maps with live traffic; a buffer is added if you set one. Blocks move with their events and go when the event goes or loses its location. A block you delete stays deleted for that event unless its location changes. Past events are never touched. Your own events are never edited.
- DOFOTT is live, in beta and free. The settings page: connect Google Calendar, starting address (checked on a map), travel mode, return trip, smart travel, buffer, block colour, muted reminders, which calendars, language, sign out, delete account. Everything saves on its own; the only status shown is whether Google is connected.
- Sign in with Google once; DOFOTT keeps only what it needs to work, and deleting your account removes all of it and DOFOTT's access at Google.
- English and Turkish from day one, with a small icon for each travel mode so they read at a glance in both languages.
