Morgen and DOFOTT both put your commute on the calendar, and that is where the similarity ends. Morgen is a daily planner you open every morning: calendars, tasks, an AI that arranges your day, a booking page, apps on every platform. DOFOTT is one feature that never asks to be opened. This page is about which of those two things you are actually shopping for.

The short version
- Morgen is an app; DOFOTT is a line in your calendar. One you adopt, the other you forget about.

- Morgen does tasks, planning and scheduling links. DOFOTT does not do any of that and is not going to.
Where Morgen is better
- It is a planner. Tasks from Notion, Todoist, ClickUp and Linear land next to your meetings; an AI planner blocks time for them; a booking page hands out your availability. If the thing wrong with your week is that it isn't planned, travel time is the smallest of your problems and Morgen is built for the rest.
- More calendars. Apple and Outlook alongside Google, in one window.
- Apps. Desktop and mobile, with the day in front of you.
- No card to try it. Fourteen days, full access, no payment details.
Where DOFOTT is better
- There is nothing to adopt. The blocks appear in the calendar you already use, on the phone you already have, in the app your colleagues already see. No new window, no morning ritual, no second place to check.
- It is about a tenth of the price, and free in a quiet month. $36 + tax a year at the most against $180. Twelve meetings with a place a month cost nothing at all.
- The trip starts where you are. Home, work in your work hours, or the meeting before when there is no time to go back — not one fixed address.
- It keeps up on its own. Move the meeting and the blocks move; change the place and they change; delete it and they go. Delete a block yourself and it stays deleted.
- The road shows as busy. Booking links and anyone looking at your calendar see it as taken, so nobody books you into your own drive.
Which should you pick
If you want your day planned — tasks in the calendar, an AI deciding what happens when, a link people can book — pay for Morgen. It is a serious product doing a bigger job, and DOFOTT will never do that job.
If your day is already planned and the only thing missing is the drive between the meetings someone else put there, $180 a year and a new app to live in is a great deal of machinery for one line on a calendar. That line is the whole of what we do.
And if you do use Morgen, DOFOTT still works underneath it: the blocks are ordinary Google Calendar events, so they show up wherever that calendar shows up.

Both write travel blocks. Morgen is a whole daily planner at $180 a year; DOFOTT does travel time only, free up to twelve meetings with a place a month and at most $36 + tax a year. If you want the planner, Morgen; if you only want the drive on the calendar, DOFOTT.
